Anti Ragging And Anti Eve Teasing Committee

As per the directions of Govt. of India, Govt. of Tamilnadu, Honourable Supreme Court of India and High court of Madras and University of Madras, an Anti Ragging Committee has been formed in which secretary of the management committee, Principal, senior teachers, Police Inspector and student representative’s are included. Cases of Ragging can be reported to the Principal in person or through cell phone. There is a complaint box put up at a prominant place near office and Principal’s room can also be made use of. Similarly cases of Eve teasing can be reported to the same committee. Strict instructions have been given to all students through the college callendar and at the time of admission, orally. We are happy that so far no case of ragging and eve teasing have been reported by the students.

The following are the possible punishments for those who are found guilty of ragging in the campus.

  • Cancellation of admission.
  • Suspension from the College.
  •  Debarring from appearing for examination.
  • Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution.
  • Imprisonment for a Term which may extend to three years and a fine of Rs.25,000/-
